Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Review

I can't say enough good things about this product. I love how it gives a lightweight coverage to my skin without making me look oily. It works well on it's own as and even better with a bit of foundation on top. It cuts out the extra steps of having to put on a primer and a moisturizer on as it works as both. At $34 it's a little pricey but if you're looking for a multi-functional product that works better than a tinted moisturizer I think it's worth the buy.

Review: Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow in Seashell Pink

I have a love affair with Tarte, all of their products are exceptional and they also don't test on animals, and use naturally derived ingredients. This particular product I use very frequently and I one of my staple cream shadows.

Now I'm partial to pink eyeshadow but I think that this is a really wearable pink that is so easy to slap on and head out the door. It adds the right amount of shimmer that looks nice enough on it's own, but when you layer a shimmery pink shadow on top it really stands out.

The wear time is great too, doesn't crease for pretty much the whole day even though I have oily lids. If I really want it to stay perfect I'll slap on a primer underneath, but usually I don't bother. If you're looking for a product that is easy to use and looks ever so pretty and feminine I really would check this out!

Tarte Airbrush Maracuja Blush Review

These blushes as far as I know are only available on the Tarte Website. I'm not sure why oit's not on Sephora, but maybe it'll pop up on there soon.

Here is what Tarte says:

Both of these blushes have shimmer and tiny glitters to it. However, the shimmers aren't intense when you apply to the cheeks, they look nice! The texture of the blushes is much like Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes. They definitely have a bouncy feel to them. It's a cream-powder hybrid, kind of hard to explain unless you feel them yourself. The pigmentation is fabulous, not like the bouncy blushes at all. You can layer on for a brighter cheek, or use one layer for a soft pigmentation. I find fingers work best with this product, you can use a brush but I really feel fingers work better.

These definitely don't last as long as their amazonian clay blushes, so you might want to bring it with you during the day to touch up. After you apply it it feels satiny, not particularly dewy or matte. I really like them. $25 at Tarte.com

Tarte LipSurgence™ lip luster in Adored Review

Tarte makes really great natural products that make me feel good about using them. I've swatched and looked at this lip luster so many times in the store before I broke down and got it, I don't regret the purchase.

This products is made with a bunch for good for you ingredients like jojoba seed oil and vitamin C & D. As far as the restoring effects for lips I can definitely say that every time I use this product it leaves my lips refreshed and moisturized. It has an unexpected minty smell to it that I got used to really quick

There are tiny glitters in the lip luster that leave a beautiful sparkle to the lips. Once the glossiness fades and it rubs off there is some glitter still left on your lips which doesn't bother me but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Totally love this products and how it's such a pretty and girl pink.

Tarte Provocateur Mineral Pressed Powder SPF 8

My go to powder for almost a year has been my MAC Studio Fix Powder (NC 30), which gives medium to full coverage. I liked the extra coverage with foundations that weren't full coverage, but since I switched to MUFE HD foundation back in December I decided the two weren't that great of a combination. So now that I'm on a cruetly free/natural kick I have been raiding the Tarte section of Sephora and I found this little gem.

Tarte Claims: Tarte Provocateur Pressed Mineral Powder is a whisperlight mineral pressed powder that allows skin to breathe while treating it with soothing vitamins and minerals and protecting it with SPF 8.

Mine is in the shade light 04 (fair to light complexions with beige & yellow undertones). I bought this for the lighter coverage and for the mattifying properties. When I first started using it I felt weird using a light coverage powder, and I almost returned it, but after giving it some time I really fell in love with it.

This product gives light to almost medium coverage, and gives a matte feel to the skin. I didn't experience any caking with this product, I use my MUFE kabuki brush and gently pat and roll the powder on my face.

I definitely feel like this product lets my skin breathe and feels a lot less heavy than my MAC Studio Fix. I also feel like I break out less with this powder.

The packaging is also very cute, and has a decent sized mirror in it.

Would recommend to anyone!

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissful

I can honestly say this is my favorite blush I own, and I wish I would have gotten one sooner! I've really been loving Tarte lately, not only do they use natural ingredients that are phenomenal, they also don't test on animals. The only downside are the prices, but I mean at least this blush is a few dollars less than a NARS.

This blush is a nice peach color that looks great on my yellow undertones.

Tarte Intro to Amazonian Clay Beauty Insider 500 point Perk

I am trying to make the effort to buy cruelty free products, and Tarte happens to have the bunny seal :) I got this as a 500 point perk from Sephora, trust me it was hard not to spend any of my points until now but so worth it.

They included two full size products (the matte lip pencil, and the emphaseyes pencil). I will do a review on the lip pencil once I have a chance to try it out, but let me just say I am happy with everything so far.
