Too Faced Pretty Rebel Beauty Eye Palette Review

I haven't been this excited about a makeup palette in a long time. Sure the Disney Storylook palettes are nice but they don't have the consistency that Too Faced has in the quality of their eyeshadows. Lets have a looksey!

The palette itself is gorgeous. It has a real punker/girly edge, and I love how the design for this palette is thinner than the previous ones Too Faced has released. Traveling with this palette would be a breeze. Let's get on with the swatches.

There isn't a negative thing I can say about these shadows. The pictures say it all, super pigmented and bright! The shadows are mostly all buttery feeling, no chalkyness or powderyness either. The black sparkly one has some fall out due to the sparkles but not as bad as others I've tried. My fave is Girly which is a brown with a blue duochrome, really hard to capture in pictures so go swatch it in person. Overall a fantastic palette, a little pricey at $46 but it's totally worth it in my opinion. It also includes a little eye look guide for some ideas of how to use the palette. I did the rebel rocker look and it turned out great :)

Ariel Storylook Palette Volume 3 Review

Let's get right into it :)

The palette itself is gorgeous. The packaging is so pretty and I love Ariel on the cover. However, I think the packaging for the Jasmine palette was much fancier looking.

There are a few issues with the pigmentation of the some of the shadows. The purple, sea witch, is very patchy. The green eyeshadow, fins, definitely stained my lids and took forever to take off. Sick of swimmin' has a ton of glitter fallout. But overall, the shadows work pretty well. I like this palette a lot, but I think they could have varied up the colors more. I would have liked some matte crease colors, and not so many greens. At $55 it's quite pricey, but worth it to add to my collection. One note, I'm pretty sure my palette has a manufacturing error, Sebastian and Flounder should be 2 different colors, a pale yellow and a pale coral.

Kat Von D Ladybird True Romance Eyeshadow Palette Review

Kat Von is one of my favorite brands, and I was super excited to get this new completely matte eyeshadow palette!

I swatched the shadows on bare skin and they were pretty pigmented and smooth. The purple is the shade that was the least pigmented but I think a good primer would do the trick. The brown pencil is super creamy and very pigmented. Overall this palette is awesome and I love the shade range. It's very similar to the Stila In the Know eyeshadow palette, but the Kat Von D is a few dollars cheaper and is similar quality. Watch my video below for more:

Clarins Poudre Multi-Eclat Mineral Loose Powder Review & Swatches

I had many high hopes for this powder, let's see what let me down.

Okay now here's what it looks like on my face, hopefully you can see the shimmers (Click on the picture to enlarge it):

A few things...The powder itself feels very silky and luxurious. Offers very little coverage, mostly meant to set your foundation. The packaging is a little bulky and I don't think it would travel well. Then we get to how this powder is jam packed with shimmer. I mean I'm all for shimmer, but not all over my face. If this came in a matte formula I would be all over it, but for now it's going to hide in my collection where I keep the products I don't use...So disappointing because Clarins and I have been besties for awhile now. The powder also has a light scent to it as most of their products do.
