March Glam Bag

I am disappoint.

This months bag left much to be desired, I'm not going to go into a rant but let's just say I have very little positive things to say.

Here's what I have to say about this months bag summed up into a few sentences:

-The gift card is not a gift card as you have to spend $50 to get $25 off, not a terribly bad deal but it would have been better to just get $25 and no stipulations.
-The brush case is terrible, it smells, looks cheap, and doesn't close.
-The brush itself is not too bad but the hairs are not cut very well.
-The Murad eye lift thing is not meant for younger girls which make up most of the my glam subscriber base.
-I like the Purlisse lip conditioner works well and is the only thing I really liked.
-The hair treatment I'm not really feeling either.

At least the bag was cute this month. My Glam let's stick to makeup products next week please.

Neutrogena Healthy Volume Waterproof Mascara

So here's the deal with Neutrogena before I get into the review. Apparently they do not test on animals, but their parent company, Johnson & Johnson does. How you want to interpret that is up to you. Moving on, I was looking for a fabulous new mascara since my recent fav from Maybelline will have to be retired due to them testing on animals (I know I sound like a broken record). This particular mascara is not my new favorite but it is pretty decent.

I liked that the formula wasn't very wet when I first used it but it really didn't give me the volume as promised. I like this mascara for everyday simple looks but not for more dramatic looks. The hunt continues.

Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow in Inspired Review

I've been researching drug store companies that don't test on animals and luckily Revlon does not :) I'm pretty impressed with this particular quad.

Here's a look I did with the quad:

Overall I think this quad is pigmented and blendable. The colors remind me of springtime and are fun to wear :)

NYX Cream Shadow in Suede

NYX has brought out quite a few products lately, some I love like the new stick blush, and some that need some work like their new cream shadows.

The color is pretty, that's a given, but the formula is lacking. The pigmentation for this color isn't great on the lids for one. The product also creases like crazy a few hours after application, even when you put a primer under it. It is also hard to blend.

I was not impressed with this product at all, which is shocking because I really love NYX. Perhaps the other colors behave better, but I do have to note that many bloggers I've read have had the same sentiments, but it varies on the colors.

This is a product you really have to test out yourself to see if you like it.

Ghiradelli How I Love Thee!

I got this chocolate from Influenster, and I am sad to say it was eaten in a matter of moments. The chocolate is so smooth and dreamy, literally melts in your mouth, and comes in fun squares you break off and devour eat. I am I big milk chocolate fan so I have tried many different brands, Ghiradelli happens to be my fav!

Gilette Venus & Olay™ Razor

I never thought I would be writing about a razor on my blog before, but hey there's a first time for everything right? Anyways, I was sent this razor by Influester and I was so impressed I decided I needed to blog about it :) You can sign up with Influenster here.

Apparently this is a brand spanking new razor that probably hasn't been released everywhere yet, lucky me :)

Here's what Venus has to say about it:

Here's what I liked:
-Close Shave, don't have to go past an area more than once.
-Don't need shaving cream. One, saves you money and two, one less step to have to do when shaving.
-My legs feel so smooth after using the razor without using any extra moisturizer. I am guilty of not using a moisturizer after shaving, so this is perfect for me!
-Comes with a handy shower hook.
-5 blades!!
-Able to grip the razor well.

What I didn't like:
-Just one thing, and this might be TMI, but it's kinda hard to use this in my underarm area because the moisturizing bars kinda moisturize too much and the razor can't grip the hairs well. I have no issues shaving my legs though.

Overall I am really impressed with this razor and will be repurchasing :)

I am really happy with this box, and let me tell you the chocolate didn't survive the night. The tea I gave to my mom though, I'm really not a tea person. I will be doing a separate review on the razor and the nail stickers soon.

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in African Queen

It's a color I would never be brave enough to buy because it's a violet color in the tube, but looks are deceiving ;)

As you can see the color is a nice berry with a hint of violet. It's pretty sheer so it won't overwhelm your lips. I really love it :) If you where wondering NYX lip gloss isn't sticky and does have a light smell.

Yes to Tomatoes Roller Ball Spot Stick

As you may know I've started buying only cruelty free products, and luckily Yes to Carrots (Blueberries, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, etc.) is cruelty free. Before I was using only Aveeno Products but unfortunately they test on animals. Anyways, I bought this acne spot stick and I now have to rave about it :)

This roller ball is so easy to use, just roll it over your acne spots and in the morning redness and size are visibly reduced. I love this thing, and the fact that it's in a roller ball form. I've had really good results with it, but I have to note it's salicylic acid (some people are allergic to it).

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissful

I can honestly say this is my favorite blush I own, and I wish I would have gotten one sooner! I've really been loving Tarte lately, not only do they use natural ingredients that are phenomenal, they also don't test on animals. The only downside are the prices, but I mean at least this blush is a few dollars less than a NARS.

This blush is a nice peach color that looks great on my yellow undertones.
