Let's get right into it :)
The palette itself is gorgeous. The packaging is so pretty and I love Ariel on the cover. However, I think the packaging for the Jasmine palette was much fancier looking.
There are a few issues with the pigmentation of the some of the shadows. The purple, sea witch, is very patchy. The green eyeshadow, fins, definitely stained my lids and took forever to take off. Sick of swimmin' has a ton of glitter fallout. But overall, the shadows work pretty well. I like this palette a lot, but I think they could have varied up the colors more. I would have liked some matte crease colors, and not so many greens. At $55 it's quite pricey, but worth it to add to my collection. One note, I'm pretty sure my palette has a manufacturing error, Sebastian and Flounder should be 2 different colors, a pale yellow and a pale coral.

Disney Jasmine Storylook Eyeshadow Palette Vol. 2 (Sephora) Review
I am so excited to bring you this review! Let's get started :)
Here are the shadows in 2 different lighting settings:
The colors are just gorgeous and go perfectly with the Jasmine/Aladdin theme. Here are more pics of the shadows and swatches:
A cool feature about this palette is that you can take the shadows out and use the palette for storage.
So if I had to give this palette a grade I would give it an A all the way. The shadows are super pigmented and lovely to work with, the palette itself is beautiful, the blush and bronzer are pigmented and great for many skin tones, and overall it's just awesome. The blush is a little on the darker side for lighter skin types I think, not that you can't use it but you would need to use a light hand.
Most of the shades are shimmery, but I love shimmer so that works for me of course. They did include a mate highlight color, Ali Abawa, which is a definite plus so I don't have to get out another palette for that purpose. The only color in the palette I could say was a little sheer than the other shades is Blue Oasis, the light shimmery blue. It's not bad, but compared to the crazy pigmentation of the other shadows it's not as opaque. I love the mix of colors, especially the bright blues and warm orange reds. Rajah and Arabian Desert are two stand outs for sure, I would love to do a sunset eye with them.
It's $55 at Sephora. Right now they only have it online but it will be sold in stores soon.

Sephora + Pantone Universe Color of the Year Blush Duo Review
As soon as I saw this pop up on musings of a muse I swooned! As you may know I am obsessed with coral/orange right now, the color just speaks to me :) Anyways I picked this baby up from Sephora and now it's for a review!
Let's start with pictures :)
The packaging on this box is so creative I love it!
The packaging of the blush duo has a magnetic lid, exactly like the Inglot packaging.
So the more red orangey side with shimmer is called: Coral, Pantone #15-1439 (Color of the Year with gold shimmer)
The matte side is called: Desert Flower, Pantone #15-1435 (light orange matte)
When you swatch the blushes in person the colors look a little scary. Coral has a lot of shimmer in it and is a very bright color with high pigmentation, however when you put it on your face with a light hand the color looks beautiful. Here is a picture with me wearing it :)
If you apply it right, the color looks very nice and the shimmers aren't that crazy noticeable. I love that they included a matte version. Desert flower looks lovely as well on the cheeks, but again use a light hand with it. What I like to do is apply desert flower on my cheeks and then put a little bit of coral on the higher points for a little bit of a highlight.
At Sephora for $26.

Recomendations for the Sephora Friends and Family Sale!
First off I want to say that the smartest way to go about this sale is to spend $50 and get the free shipping. Say you spend $20 and get $4 off through the sale. You also have to spend $5.95 in shipping, which would make you have to pay $1.95 more than you would have to pay in the store.
Anyways here are my Recommendations:
1. Urban Decay Roller Girl Palette $18 (Orig. 32)
-Great palette and it's on sale.
2. Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Angeles $15 (Orig. $34)
-I love this palette and it's only $15!
3. Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Metal Orchestra $24 (Orig. $34)
-Another good Kat Von D palette
4. Too Faced Sweet Dreams Makeup Collection $52
-An incredibly good deal and it comes with a full sized shadow insurance.
Other recommendations:
I would also check out any of the new holiday sets as they will probably sell out before the holidays. I always recommend any of the Too Faced Palettes as well.
Happy shopping :)

How to get 24% off for the Sephora Friends and Family Sale!
So it's that time of year again when Sephora gives out their yearly 20% off coupon. Right now is the best time to stock up on new goodies and perhaps even presents for Christmas time (or any other holiday you participate in).
If you haven't heard of the website Ebates you are totally missing out on FREE money! Here's how it works, you sign up with them and you use their links to shop as you normally would online. Whatever you buy you get a percentage back into your Ebates account. So for example, say you want to shop the sephora sale. You simply go to the Ebates website, click on their Sephora link and then shop as you normally would. There isn't a code you have to enter. After you make your purchase, whatever the percentage back that you get is placed into your account.
Say you buy $100 dollars worth of stuff, and the % that Ebates is offering is 5%, you literally get back $5. After a while of shopping as you normally would online it really adds up. Ebates sends you a check for whatever is in your balance four times a year, and if you use my link you automatically get five dollars in your account!
Here is the link:
